Lost Dutchman Spirits was founded in 2021 by father and son, Paul and Quinten, with a shared ambition to create distinctive spirits with real character.

But the story of distilling began much earlier.

Growing up in the Middle East, Paul first discovered the craft as a teenager, distilling alongside his older brother and creating Siddiqui — a name derived from the Arabic Sadiq, meaning “friend.”

Decades later, Paul shared those stories with Quinten and the idea for Lost Dutchman began to take shape. What followed were two years of development, experimentation and plenty of challenges before their first gins were released in January 2024.

Today, Lost Dutchman produces multi-award-winning gin in the Vale of Clwyd, North Wales, with Paul and Quinten still very much at the heart of the distillery.
